Power Plays Weekly Roundup
July 11, 2025

By Scott Redler

The market is looking lower to close the week.

But all things considered, US markets are holding in fairly well.

We've come an awfully long way from the March-April lows, so a little digestion is to be expected.

The big news today was the President escalating the tariff fight with Canada, and threatening to raise baseline tariffs on trading partners.

But we can't be surprised if we see the opposite news next week.

Thankfully, our Power Plays have been performing well overall, particularly Unusual Machines (UMAC), which we squeezed in after the close yesterday.

Next week, we have the US CPI and PPI reports, plus a bunch of earnings reports from the banks.

So I'll be hunting for new opportunities.

Now let’s talk about our current names:

Archer Aviation (ACHR) was stuck in the mud, then looked ready to go this morning. And now it's stuck in the mud again. We'll stick with it for now.

Unusual Machines (UMAC): I added this Thursday because the chart was looking good. And it rallied huge on Friday after the Defense Secretary announced plans to fast-track drone production. We are down to 2/3.

AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) has been very tricky but it's looking very good as of late morning. I still like it, but expect a bumpy ride!

SPDR S&P Biotech ETF (XBI) is a big focus for me now, and had a big rally off the lows this week. It's off today but still looks good.

WeBull (BULL) got off to a slow start and then ramped hard this week to nearly see $15 last week. We are down to 1/4. I would not chase it.

Enjoy your weekend!
