We're heading into a holiday weekend with today showing tricky, grinding action.
It's hard to read too much into this action because it's so thin heading into a 3-day weekend.
The action has been very stock-specific, and I reduced a lot of risk this week, which helped me minimize damage from Thursday's big red outside bar.
I also don't want to lean too heavily long or short since I'll be out starting Wednesday, and may have to leave early Thursday.
As for managing Power Plays while I'm gone, you can always check out the tracking sheet in the Portal to stay on top of things, plus I'll instruct my team to keep you updated based on the levels that come into play.
Have a great weekend!
Now let's look at our current Power Plays:
Meta (META): we added this Wednesday, and it did look shaky at first. However, it's powering up today and looks ready to go higher. It's hard to chase though.
Oracle (ORCL) had a good reaction to Nvidia's (NVDA) earnings report, but came back in. Still, the setup looks fine for now.
SLV June 21 $30 Calls: we added these last Friday as our past previous calls were set to expire, and they rallied hard. We took off half Tuesday. The metals came in, so that was a good move. We'll let the second half ride for now.
Toast (TOST) has been looking shaky and it's in danger of testing the earnings gap. I'll keep a tight leash on it.
Apple (AAPL) lost some momentum Thursday but it's back on track today, and it's holding above the earnings gap. It still looks good.
Global X Uranium ETF (URA): last Friday into Monday, we finally got the boost over $32 we were looking for, but it's since come down. The longer it stays over $32, the higher the probability of a real rally.
Have a great weekend.
