This environment remains very challenging.
There has been steady technical damage to the indices, with SPY breaking key levels $573.50 and $564.95.
So now there is risk of a break of $559.
Some Power Plays subscribers have asked why I didn't send out any new ideas this week.
Simple - there is not much working.
SPY, QQQ, and IWM are all down on the week so pretty much nothing is up.
So let's not be in a rush to trade just for the sake of it.
As I told you last week, I do not think the 2025 lows are in, so we have to be very careful.
The tariff headlines are all over the place, and hopefully, we'll get some resolution on that issue with the upcoming April 2 deadline.
For now, let's stay patient and be very selecting in looking for opportunities.
Now let's talk about our current names.
BABA 4/11 $145 Calls + BABA 4/11 $145 X $150 Call Spread: BABA has struggled since losing the $145 level. We still have time for these positions to work but needless say the odds are getting worse. I'll re-evaluate these early next week.
MSOS 6/20 $4 Calls: we haven't gotten any news to drive up the cannabis sector, so this position has done poorly. However, we have 3 months to expiration, and there could be a sudden spurt up at some point.
