EV and Green Energy-related names are a little weaker this morning as traders take profits across the group, and RIVN is down modestly in the premarket along with them. RIVN had a strong finish yesterday to send the Sep9 $37 - $42 call spread roll up nicely into the money, so with earnings coming up this week, we will work quickly this morning to reduce risk on the position. The current spread will be closed and a tighter Sep9 $40 - $42 call spread will be opened. This may be carried into the earnings report, depending on how the next couple of sessions play out.
