Most traders come to the market from finance. Keith Chinnock came from the Royal Air Force.
He spent 15 years there as an engineer, then another 20 as an aeronautical engineer working across Europe. Thirty-five years in a field where you don’t get to guess. You calculate, you verify, and you know your tolerances before you leave the ground.That’s exactly how he trades.
Futures pulled him in because he could see how much they drove everything else — the S&P, the Nasdaq, the whole tape. So he narrowed his focus to help futures traders and help stock traders see the whole market. In 2021 he left the corporate engineering world behind to trade full time.
He also became a life coach in those years, working with couples on their marriages and families. It sounds like a detour. It isn’t. Sit in his room for a week and you’ll see all his experience work together: the patience, the willingness to say “I’m flat, I’m waiting,” the refusal to force a trade that isn’t there.
