Keep VTF3 Push Notifications Visible

Quick steps for Android and iPhone so you never miss an alert.

Android: Make Alerts Stick

  1. 1
    Open Settings on your phone.
  2. 2
    Go to Apps → VTF3 → Notifications.
  3. 3
Tap Notification categories (or similar), choose the main category (for example Alerts), set Importance to High, and enable Show as pop-up if available.
  4. 4
Look for a setting like Persistent, Keep notifications, or Don’t auto-dismiss and turn it on if your device offers it.
  5. 5
Turn on system Notification history so you can review anything you missed: Settings → Notifications → Notification history → On.
  6. 6
Prevent Android from silencing VTF3: Battery → Battery optimization → set VTF3 to Unrestricted (names vary by device).
  7. 7
Check Do Not Disturb rules and allow notifications from VTF3 during market hours.
  8. 8
Samsung: also check Settings → Notifications → App notifications → VTF3, and Settings → Battery → Background usage limits (exclude VTF3). Pixel: use Settings → Apps → VTF3 → Battery → Unrestricted.

Note: Android clears a push once you tap it. That’s normal. Use the app’s Notifications tab to review anything you missed.

iPhone: Optimize Notifications

  1. 1
Go to Settings → Notifications → Display As and choose Count, Stack, or List.
  2. 2
In Settings → Notifications, tap VTF3 and enable Allow Notifications, Sounds, Badges, and Lock Screen alerts.
  3. 3
Set Banner Style to Persistent so alerts stay until you clear them.
  4. 4
(iOS 18.4+) Turn on Priority Notifications for VTF3. (iOS 18.1+) Adjust Scheduled Summary if you use it.
  5. 5
Check Focus modes and allow VTF3 notifications during market hours.

Quick Fixes

  1. 1
Make sure you’re logged into the correct account on the app and web.
  2. 2
On Android, set VTF3 battery to Unrestricted. On iPhone, check Focus modes.
  3. 3
Still stuck? Log out, then back in. If needed, reinstall the app and sign in again.

Reminder: Log into the VTF via browser at least once a month to keep access and syncing active.
