The VTF is your 1-stop shop for live trade ideas and market intelligence from top traders like Scott Redler.
And now it’s faster, better-looking, easier to use, and compatible with all mobile devices.
We’ve also added many new features VTF customers have requested, including trade time stamps, vastly improved video quality, and a 100% responsive layout.
Plus, the VTF now features our Buzz & Banter market intelligence service for even more trade ideas and live commentary.
That’s a value of $495/year at no additional charge.
The original Virtual Trading Floor only worked with PC’s and laptops.
However, the new VTF is 100% compatible with your mobile device, including Apple iOS and Google Android smartphones and tablets.
That means you can access the VTF from anywhere in the world.
The VTF Layout
As you can see, the VTF's new interface is simpler and cleaner than our previous version:
It is also 100% responsive, meaning it will automatically configure itself based on the size of your browser window.
For example, if you make your browser window thinner, the VTF will automatically move elements down to ensure you can still access them.
To log in to the VTF or any of our private rooms like the Black Room and Peak Alpha Trading Room, please follow the following steps:
- Navigate to VTF.T3Live.com on your desktop or mobile device
- Enter your email address and your password.
- Click the Login Button
You can access the Main VTF Trader Hub and any specialized rooms you’ve purchased by clicking on the 3-line icon on the upper-left side of the screen:
You'll then be able to enter your purchased room(s).
The lock icon denotes rooms to which you do not have access.
Our Trader Cards allow you to access our gurus’ audio and video feeds, and see their positions.
When a contributor is sharing audio and/or video, a blue microphone and/or camera icon will appear on their Trader Card.
You may click the microphone icon to launch audio, or click the camera icon to launch video.
If a trader is not logged in, the Trader Card will say OFFLINE.
If a trader is logged in but not broadcasting live audio or video, the Trader Card will say NOT BROADCASTING.
Our cards also show you the positions traders are holding Long or Short.
The symbols under ‘Flat’ indicate positions that have been closed out.
Stock positions are denoted by a simple ticker symbol.
Options symbols are more complicated, so we’ll show you how they work by using the ticker TWTR1216C18, which you can see in Scott Redler's Trader Card:
TWTR is the ticker for the underlying stock Twitter (TWTR).
1216 is the December 18 expiration date.
C stands for call option. (put options use the letter ‘P’)
18 is the $18 strike price.
About Positions Displayed
All positions that are displayed in the “trader display cards” on the VTF are updated in real-time and shown as “Long”, “Short” or “Flat”. All equity positions must trade more than 500,000 shares in average daily volume over the past 12 months to be displayed in the VTF. I.e. If a trader has a position in an stock that has traded less than 500,000 shares of average daily volume over the past 3 months, that position will not be shown in the traders display card on the VTF.
With our time stamp feature, you can see when our traders made each Buy/Sell by hovering your mouse over each Trader Card ticker. If you're on a touchscreen mobile device, tap on a ticker to reveal the time stamps.
In this example, we hovered on ACIA:
In this case, Scott made buys of ACIA at 9:30, 9:40, and 9:43 before closing out the entire position at 9:44.
If a position was carried over from the previous day, it will say OVERNIGHT next to it:
‘Live Feed’ indicates that the trader’s positions are updated automatically in real time by our brokerage systems.
‘Manual Feed’ means that positions are entered manually by the trader:
Our Favorites feature allows you to select the VTF contributors that help you the most and keep them at the top of your screen.
As you can see, each Trader card has a star icon on the top left:
Just click the star to Favorite a contributor:
As you can see, the star is now yellow, and that contributor will appear at the top of your VTF layout.
The VTF will remember your Favorites so you never have to go looking for them.
At the bottom of the VTF, you'll see an area called the Tray:
The Tray contains all the VTF elements you are currently not using.
You can send the Chat Box, Stocks in Play Box, Buzz & Banter, or any individual Trader Card to the Tray by clicking on the down arrow within each element (shown in red):
To return an item from the Tray to the VTF screen, simply click the up arrow (shown in red):
And just like with Favorites, the VTF will remember your preferences.
Stocks in Play
Our Stocks in Play feature allows you to see stocks making outsized moves according to our proprietary black box algorithms.
'Volume Weighted' analyzes increases in current volume relative to historical levels.
'Range Weighted' judges names with the biggest overall relative movement.
Cumulative includes all the Stocks in Play from the current trading day.
To chat with your fellow traders and our VTF experts, simply type your message in the box that says “Enter your message” and hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
To get the most out of your VTF experience, we encourage you to participate in live chat as much as possible.
Our community is friendly, supportive and responsive -- and that includes our moderators like Scott Redler and Rob Smith.
So if you’ve got question to ask or ideas to share, please make your voice heard!
You may also pop out the Chat box and move it around your screen - even to another computer monitor.
You can even keep a Chat Box window popped up while you're in another VTF room.
For example, you can pop out the Chat Box in the News Room, and leave it open while you participate in the Trader Hub.
To pop out the chat room, click on the pop-out icon (shown in red):
That will pop the Chat Box out so you can move it wherever you want.
To move the Chat Box back to the VTF, head to the Tray at the bottom of the screen and click the up arrow on "Chat Room":
FREE Buzz and Banter Access
Plus, we’ve made a major enhancement to our news and market commentary capabilities by integrating our Buzz and Banter service into the Virtual Trading Floor. The Buzz is normally priced at $495 but it is part of the VTF at no additional charge.
To read a full Buzz post, simply click on each entry to open it.
By default, the Buzz and Banter feed is located at the right side of your screen.
If you resize your browser window to make it thinner, the Buzz and Banter window will move down to the bottom of the screen.
