On December 30, we shared David Prince's 2026 Trading Strategy.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

In that outlook, David made predictions about several names and sectors for this year \u2013 and many of his expectations are already coming to fruition.<\/p>\n

So let's review 5 of those calls and how they've panned out so far just one full trading week into the New Year.<\/p>\n

1. Rocket Blasts Off<\/h2>\n

David Prince named Rocket Companies <\/strong>(RKT) his “favorite rates play”. He said the stock is a “must-own long-term and expect it to be above
\n$30 by year-end.”<\/p>\n

And President Trump provided a gift for the sector on Thursday, January 8.<\/p>\n

In a Truth Social post, Trump said he was instructing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to buy $200 billion worth of mortgage bonds to lower rates.<\/p>\n

And that sent RKT flying:<\/p>\n

The stock is up 20% YTD with over 10% of that move happening just on Friday.<\/p>\n

David has previously called this company a “one-stop shop” for every step in the home buying or selling process.<\/p>\n

2. Flying Taxis in Vogue<\/h2>\n

David predicted 2026 will be the year we start to see real progress in the eVTOL AKA “Flying Taxis” space.<\/p>\n

He picked Joby Aviation\u00a0<\/strong>(JOBY),\u00a0Vertical Aerospace\u00a0<\/strong>(EVTL), and\u00a0Archer Aviation\u00a0<\/strong>(ACHR) as his “favorite names in the group”.<\/p>\n

So how have those names performed so far this year? Take a look:<\/p>\n

Since December 31,\u00a0EVTL\u00a0<\/strong>is up 24.3%,\u00a0JOBY\u00a0<\/strong>is up 17.9%, and\u00a0ACHR\u00a0<\/strong>is up 17.2%.<\/p>\n

These names have far outperformed the broader tech sector with\u00a0QQQ<\/strong> up just 2.1% in the same timeframe.<\/p>\n

And David even gave us a tip for the future in this space, saying he will be a buyer of\u00a0Anduril\u00a0<\/strong>when it goes public and he plans “to hold it for a decade”.<\/p>\n

3. Tesla Offers a Better Entry<\/h2>\n

In his note, David said about Tesla <\/strong>(TSLA), “there should be a better entry in 2026.”<\/p>\n

And in the first week of the year, Tesla did exactly what David was looking for.<\/p>\n

The stock closed at $449.72 on December 31 and then pulled back to hit a low of $438.37 on January 7:<\/p>\n

That set up the stock for an 11+ point bounce in two days and David himself was buying on the pullback.<\/p>\n

For the long-term, he still sees some challenges ahead for this name.<\/p>\n

In his note, David said, “Tesla is really a bet on Elon and the narratives, not the P\/E or car demand. Unless we see more progress in Optimus & FSD, I'd expect it to see $400 again.”<\/p>\n

4. Immunome is Just Getting Started<\/h2>\n

Immunome\u00a0<\/strong>(IMNM) was a huge winner for David and the Inner Circle VTF\u00ae in 2025.<\/p>\n

And in his end of year note, he told us it was just getting started.<\/p>\n

The name gave traders a buying opportunity to kickoff the year, pulling back to a low of $19.33 on January 5:<\/p>\n

From there, IMNM rallied 13.8% to hit a high of $22.01 on January 9.<\/p>\n

David believes in the future of this company, predicting a “40-50% gain in 2026”.<\/p>\n

5. Cannabis Provides Opportunity<\/h2>\n

David called out the Cannabis sector as one where he sees strong upside this year “with a more industry-friendly President”.<\/p>\n

The ticker he focuses on for this trade is the\u00a0AdvisorShares Pure US Cannabis ETF\u00a0<\/strong>(MSOS)<\/p>\n

Here's what that trade has looked like so far this year:<\/p>\n

MSOS bottomed at $4.45 on January 6 before rallying to a high of $4.81 on January 8.<\/p>\n

That's an 8.1% move in 2 sessions.<\/p>\n
