Futures are higher but flat as traders digest last week\u2019s record-breaking moves and look ahead to key inflation data this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get right to it!<\/span><\/p>\n

New Week<\/span><\/h2>\n

Traders will get a quieter start to the week before some important economic data is released in the days ahead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Census Bureau reports new home sales for January at 10:00 a.m. ET today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday\u2019s data includes durable and core durable goods orders, plus the S&P Case-Shiller home price index before the market open followed by the Conference Board\u2019s consumer confidence index at 10:00 a.m. ET.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, traders will get the first revision of Q4 GDP, advanced goods trade balance, advanced retail inventories, and advanced wholesale inventories all at 8:30 a.m. ET.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday is the busiest day with weekly jobless claims, the PCE and core PCE price index, personal income, and personal spending at 8:30 a.m. ET.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The core PCE price index is the Fed\u2019s preferred inflation gauge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then the National Association of Realtors reports pending home sales for January at 10:00 a.m. ET.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Friday closes out the week with the S&P manufacturing PMI, ISM manufacturing PMI, construction spending, and revised consumer sentiment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are several Fed speakers scheduled on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Domino\u2019s Jumps On Profit Beat<\/span><\/h2>\n

Domino\u2019s Pizza <\/b>(DPS) shares are up 6.7% ahead of the open after beating Q4 profit expectations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how the pizza chain\u2019s results compared to analysts\u2019 estimates:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • EPS: $4.48 vs $4.38 expected<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Revenue: $1.40 billion vs $1.42 billion expected<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Same-store sales in the U.S. grew 2.8% year over year vs 2.2% growth expected.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The company said its board of directors approved a 25% increase to its quarterly dividend on February 21.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The $1.51 per share dividend will be paid on March 29 to shareholders of record as of March 15.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Domino\u2019s also announced a $1 billion buyback, increasing its total authorization for repurchases to $1.14 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Amazon Joins The DJIA<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Amazon <\/b>(AMZN) shares are up 0.7% in premarket trade as the mega-cap tech stock is set to join the <\/span>Dow Jones Industrial Average <\/b>today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Amazon will replace <\/span>Walgreens Boots Alliance <\/b>(WBA) on the blue-chip index.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
