But that\u2019s to be seen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CME Group\u2019s FedWatch Tool now shows nearly 61% of traders expecting the first 25bps rate cut at the May 1 meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qualcomm Slips On Weak Guidance<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>Qualcomm <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(QCOM) shares are down 2.1% ahead of the open after beating fiscal Q1 expectations but issuing soft guidance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s how the chipmaker\u2019s results compared to analysts\u2019 estimates:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adjusted EPS: $2.75 vs $2.37 expected<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Revenue: $9.92 billion vs $9.51 billion expected<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Net income jumped 24% year over year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company said it shipped $6.69 billion in smartphone chips during the quarter, up 16% from a year Outlook<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>Peloton <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(PTON) shares are plunging 10.1% in premarket trade after reporting mixed fiscal Q2 results and issuing weak guidance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s how the fitness equipment maker\u2019s results compared to analysts\u2019 estimates:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Loss per share: $0.54 vs $0.53 expected<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span High<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Weekly jobless claims rose more than expected last week in a possible sign of a softening labor market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Labor Department reported 224,000 Americans filed initial claims for unemployment benefits last week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That was up by 9,000 from the previous week and higher than 214,000 expected.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was also the highest total in nearly three months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Continuing claims rose by 70,000 to 1.9 million in the week ending January
