So, I gave up my CPA license.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But I had saved up $20,000 while I was going to college, and didn't know what to do with it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I read about how Warren Buffett, the second richest man in the world, made all of his money from investing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So I was fascinated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And then I read about a 21-year old kid from New York, who made $1 million dollars the year before.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I thought \u201cI'm going to blow them out of the water.\u201d That's how competitive I was.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not arrogant, just competitive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So I opened an account with $16,000, and in 6 months, I made $10,000.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6 months after that, I had $50,000<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We're not talking big money here but I was amazed that I went from $16,000 to $50,000 in a year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My PhD brother said \u201cif you can make that kind of money by buying and holding, imagine what you could do playing these active stocks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was referring to the stocks on the new highs list.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That's when I got into day trading. And then in a few short months, I lost everything, and $15,000 more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So I lost $65,000 off the top.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That when I realized I didn\u2019t know as much as I thought I did. And I started to look for professional trading education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After that I participated in a trading challenge from Zacks.com. The winner of that challenge received $100,000 at the end of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I did rather poorly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But I did something achieved something than winning the challenge. I met the guy who who.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He turned $100,000 into $2 million within a year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He wrote a blog post about his dad passing away.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So I just sent him a heartfelt message expressing my condolences.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And then we got to talking and then he told me that he had been a professional trader for 15 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He learned from a system called Trading the Pristine \u00ae method.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He told me to check it out, so I did.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rest is history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I became a member of the community, and then I was invited to teach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I didn\u2019t want to be a teacher.
