weeks of losses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recession fears took over last week after the Fed hiked rates again and raised its forecast for future moves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The major indexes are all on track for monthly losses so far.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Dow Jones <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is down 4.8% this month, the <\/span><b>S&P 500 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has lost 5.6%, and the <\/span><b>Nasdaq <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has dropped 6.7%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tesla Rises After Musk\u2019s Latest Twitter Poll<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>Tesla <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(TSLA) shares are up 2% ahead of the open after CEO Elon Musk ran a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1604617643973124097\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">poll<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on Twitter asking whether he should step down as head of the company.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Musk said he would abide by the results of that poll.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">57.5% voted \u2018yes\u2019 that he should step down, while 42.5% voted \u2018no\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some Tesla shareholders have previously expressed concern that Musk\u2019s duties at Twitter distract him from Tesla.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Musk has also sold off large chunks of Tesla stock to help fund his takeover of Twitter.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regional Airline Ditches American For United<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>Mesa Air Group <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(MESA) shares are rallying 7.7% in premarket trade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The regional carrier announced over the weekend it is winding down flights for <\/span><b>American Airlines <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(AAL) and is close to an agreement to fly for <\/span><b>United Airlines <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(UAL).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a note to employees, Mesa\u2019s CEO said, \u201cWe are excited to announce we have negotiated a wind down of our operations with American and are finalizing a new agreement with United which would transition all CRJ900s currently flying for American Eagle to United Express.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final Mesa flight for American will be on April 3.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oil Prices Jump On Chinese Demand Hopes<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oil prices are higher this morning as optimism about the Chinese economy overshadows global recession fears.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">West Texas Intermediate crude futures are up 1.3% to over $75 bbl while Brent crude futures are up 1.4% to over $80 bbl.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">China is sticking by its relaxed Covid restrictions even as cases rise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The country has also vowed to increase support for the economy and boost economic growth in 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Homebuilder Sentiment Expected To Improve<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Homebuilder sentiment is expected to improve slightly this month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The National Association of Homebuilders releases its monthly sentiment index at 10:00 a.m. ET.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That survey is expected to show an improvement to 34 from 33.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Confidence dropped for the 11th straight month and hit a decade low in November as builders struggle with lower demand due to higher mortgage rates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More housing market data is due later this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:
