Hot<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">U.S. inflation pressures were still running hot in September as the Fed\u2019s rate hikes show no signs of slowing price gains.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bureau of Economic Analysis\u2019 personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index rose 0.3% monthly and 5.1% year over year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But it\u2019s not just high gas prices fueling those gains anymore.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The core PCE
