a.k.a. the <strong>Tesla <\/strong>(TSLA) of China &#8212; one of my top plays for 2019.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to making trading calls, it's easy to have 20\/20 hindsight, so let's go back to what I said word for word on page 39 of the report:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"2019 Scott Redler Market Outlook Report NIO\" src=\"https:\/\/www.t3live.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/2019-Scott-Redler-Market-Outlook-Report-NIO.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"816\" height=\"1056\" data-id=\"38072\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Now, we almost did get that break of $6 right after I published the report.<\/p>\n<p>Nio touched a low of $6 on the dot on January 2 &#8212; kissing the danger zone down to the penny!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"Scott Redler NIO Blog Post\" src=\"https:\/\/www.t3live.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Scott-Redler-NIO-Blog-Post.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" data-id=\"38078\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>But then it took off and finally broke over the 8\/21\/50 day in ate January, even getting to the $8 level from the 2019 Report:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"Scott Redler NIO Blog Post (1)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.t3live.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Scott-Redler-NIO-Blog-Post-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" data-id=\"38077\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Let's fast forward a little bit now.<\/p>\n<p>It closed strong last Friday, and on Saturday morning, I Tweeted that &#8220;it seems like $9.50++ happens in time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"nio-friday\" src=\"https:\/\/www.t3live.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/nio-friday.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"597\" height=\"581\" data-id=\"38083\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Then on Monday when the stock gapped up on the 60 Minutes Show about China's electric car industry:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"Scott Redler NIO Blog Post (2)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.t3live.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Scott-Redler-NIO-Blog-Post-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" data-id=\"38076\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>That morning, I told Redler All-Access readers &#8220;I trimmed some above $9.30&#8221; to lock in a nice gain.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, there was just a tiny retracement toward Monday's low before the stock shot up again to hit a new all-time high at $10.64 &#8212; passing that $9.50 mark with authority.<\/p>\n<p>Wow!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"Scott Redler NIO Blog Post (3)\" src=\"https:\/\/www.t3live.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Scott-Redler-NIO-Blog-Post-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" data-id=\"38079\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday at 11:52, when NIO was around $10.54, I tweeted on our Private feed that I was smaller in it, but would stay with some to track it:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" title=\"twitter-nio-scott\" src=\"https:\/\/www.t3live.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/twitter-nio-scott.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"268\" data-id=\"38081\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Then this morning, I told Redler All-Access readers &#8220;I trimmed some <strong>NIO <\/strong>above $10 and I\u2019ll buy dips selectively.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And here's the chart I posted to the Redler All-Access Private Twitter, saying &#8220;now it needs some time to consolidate&#8221;
