Mining For Explosive Moves In Metals Before They Happen

“Successful speculation is about anticipating the anticipators.” – Bernard Baruch

Hit and Run has been bullish of gold and precious metals miners since May of 2019 when subscribers bought GLD calls at that time in anticipation of breakout.

Since that May 2019 turning point, we have probably taken over a dozen swing positions in GDXJ and various miners such as AGPAASGOLD and WPM.

Those are how we’ve chosen to participate in the move.

I believe in the last year we’ve probably taken out more points in GDXJ than the 47.50 it's set to trade at this morning.

Last week we flagged another breakout setup in GLD.

The following daily GLD shows the setup.

Anticipating GLD’s breakout, on Thursday, Hit & Run took an additional position in NUGT ( a 2X leverage ETF on the junior miners) at 73.10.

Monday morning, it is trading at 85 where we will be locking in our profit.

With FNV trading at 144 on Thursday, we flagged the potential for Pin Action to 155 on our private Twitter feed.

This morning FNV is set to open at 155, up 5 from Friday’s close.

This week GLD is set to strike a projection to 170-171 as shown on the above dailies.

This is consistent with the idea of a 1 year cycle from the upthrust from late May 2019.

Notice that the August 2019 high was timed by the 1 year cycle from the important August 2018 low.

This morning, gold and silver and the miners are rocketing.

It will be important to gauge how they behave on the heels of this vertical run with GLD, challenging my 170 region.

As well, subscribers were positioned for this explosive move based on the following daily GDXJ from last week.

A little inverse continuation Head & Shoulders projected an extension to 47.50.

That is being satisfied this morning.

The technical stars were aligned for the Friday/Monday’s fireworks in the metals.

The question is, is this a near term Buying Climax or are they entering a parabolic phase?
