Trader Bio

After graduating from The Wharton School at UPenn, Andres began his trading career on the equity desk of a proprietary trading firm in New York City. Having traversed numerous market regimes since that time, Andres has consistently evolved and expanded his trading tool-set to accommodate the ever changing trading landscape. His core values include adaptability and constant education, both of which are critical for long term trading success. The result has been a multidisciplinary approach he employs and teaches today which includes a mix of analysis techniques (chart patterns, correlations, level II quotes, and custom filters), and trading time-frames (short term scalping, momentum intra-day trades, and swing trades).

Throughout his career, Andres has effectively combined his considerable technical abilities with his trading expertise to generate alpha in both discretionary trading and fully automated trading systems. He has created everything from custom risk management and PnL analysis.
