Vivus (VVUS) Drug Approval Highlights Pre-Market Action

Vivus (VVUS): 4 pre market upgrades. VIVUS jumps after FDA panel vote, resistance at $21.61, last
seen in 1997 Sympathy Symbols: Orexigan (OREX), Arena (ARNA).  

 

Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA) is on lows pre open .30c off highs. VVUS trading pre market in the middle of its range. Should have good intra day range and liquidity.

 

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ): Decent eps and revenues. Forward going guidance was disappointing. Good liquidity an tradeabilty. Watching to see if a trend forms. Trading on lows pre market during CNBC interview. 

 

Gold (GLD), Silver (SLV): Gold off higher pre market levels, breaking through key resistance on its daily at the bell, watching for trade-able pullbacks
